Body, senses, mind and spirit, the four vehicles of happiness

We need not to take care of multiple things to be happy and contented. In delusion and ignorance, we try multiple stuffs to acquire happiness and ecstasy in our life. Our multifarious attempts, without discernment, invite numerous anxieties and stress. Happiness and worry are never co-dwellers. We try something new, something esoteric to attract happiness, but in the veneer of temporary happiness, we find abundance to despondency. Naturally, we try to covet something outside or somewhere which is absent in this moment and place. If something, what we need, is available with us or in front of us, we need not to go anywhere for its hankering. Similarly, we spend our time, energy and money in the search of peace and happiness outside. Searching peace and happiness outside is just like a mirage, it appears, but in reality, it is not there. …. If not there, then where it is ?   ….. It is within us. We find it, once we search it inside with diligence and sincerely. Hoping to reach...

Desire, the cause of re-birth

Until and unless all of your desires are fulfilled, your soul cannot get liberation. Our present birth is the cause of our unfulfilled desires of the past lives. It is merely our responsibility to fulfill our authentic and pulsating desire. That is not the original desires which are acquired by the influence of the others or societies, these desires create illusion in our life. We may have an unlimited fluctuated desire, which create numerous problems in our life.   All the desires are not worthy to be fulfilled, the horrid desires create nasty consequences, which propel us to enmesh in an unlimited anxieties and worries. The suffering of humans is unauthentic and unwanted desires. Various desires take birth from the thought and get strength from continuous contemplation on that. Later these desires get converted into lust, and by hook and crook you want to fulfill your desire, in such   way, you lose your discernment about the consequences, and right and wrong. In the ...

You are incomparable …

Jealousy is one of the prominent causes for our suffering and unhappiness. The jealousy starts with comparing ourselves with others. The more we compare, the more we become jealous. The jealousy never does harm to others but the holders only. More than ninety percent of the population is suffering from this heinous disease. The comparison with others impede our potential. We start thinking more about others than the self. We think others are very happy and I am not. His problem is surmountable but not mine. Why others are happy, I am not. Why that person is possessing this and that, and I am not. Any kind of comparison with others will never allow you to be happy. It does not matter, how much you are possession, you would not be happy. In the first place, comparison of any kind   with anyone or anything is wrong, this is unnatural. There is always a suffering hidden in an unnatural and wrong deeds. Every human is unique, he is incomparable. No one has been in the past like y...

In the Ramayana, Rama got 14 years of forest exile along with his wife Sita and younger brother Laxman to keep the word of his father king Dasharath. In the last year of his exile, the demon king Ravana of Lanka abducted his wife Sita rather deceitfully to take the vengeance of the humiliation of his sister Surpanakha. The resultant, the war took place between Rama and Ravana for getting Sita back from the entanglement of Ravana. Rama`s army killed the army and family of Ravana. At last, Ravana came to the battlefield. Ravana was very vigor and valiant. Only Rama had the skill and strength to confront powerful Ravana. In the war, Ravana was defeated and was on the verge of demise lying on the battlefield. Exuberant Rama`s army was celebrating their triumph. But, Rama was quiet and pensive. He called his brother Laxman and asked him to go to lying Ravana and get the knowledge from him before he dies. Ravana is a king and a great scholar. Reluctant Laxman approached Rav...

The way speed breaker is needed to check our speed, similarly, the breakdown in our life is also needed to mold our lives in the right direction, if it is perverted. Abraham Lincoln, former US president, lost his home due to the legal issue in his early age, he started his bu...

How to fulfill your desire

A genuine desire is the determinant of the direction of any big achievement, and its accomplishment depends upon a meticulous plan and undaunted first step towards it. Even the creation of the cosmos is the result of God`s desire. The bigger the desire, the bigger the achievements. But the desire is never fulfilled with a hollow heart, weak effort and lack of faith. A desire backed by an unwavering faith with a single minded genuine effort never elude you.   If our desire is not getting fulfilled, it means, we are not fully aligned with our desire, we are not determined, we are in doubt or we are lacking in our effort. One of the disciples of Socrate expressed his desire to him, “I want to become as knowledgeable and wise as you are, can you please tell me the way for that”. Socrates did not respond anything to him at that moment. One day, both were crossing a river. When both reached at the depth of their neck level, Socrates caught his neck and started doping him in the ri...
