What Matters More?

Image result for what matters more

Digma was not from a well to do family. His father was a proletariat, he was earning a little.  But he was giving an ample amount of time to his family. He thought to give a good education to Digma.  Digma started his study, and excelled in his study. He got a scholarship for his higher study. At those times, Digma used to criticize his father, saying, “You have nothing to give me, except poverty”. That was hurting his father, but still he kept motivating him for a higher study and a good life. As a father, he had always a great love and time for his son. Whenever Digma was facing any financial problem during his study, he used to hate his father. In these situations, money mattered more for him than anything else.

He grew up; he completed his study, and got a good job with a handsome package. He thought, he got everything in his life. In five years, he got all the luxury in his life. He got married of his choice. He thought to give everything to his offspring what he missed in his life. He thought that, from money, he could buy anything. But he was wrong, from money; you can buy stuffs, not the happiness, love and true respect.

Substances can be bought from money not abstract.

His children started criticizing him at every possible occasion, because his busy schedule did not allow him to give an ample amount of time and love to his offspring.

Luxury is boredom. When he bored from all the luxuries, he started looking for a time and true love. He started searching value in his life, which he did not find in any kind of luxury, post, power and position.

When you are tired of the external gliters, and you do not get any value, satisfaction and meaning, then you turn towards the internal journey where you get everything which are the real quest of humans since time immemorial, that is the true meaning and value of life. You understand the self as it is.

Now, what matters more to him is the meaning of life, love and time. In that quest, he went around the world, but he did not get satisfaction and happiness. At last, he went to his father. As usual, he had always time and love for Digma. By seeing him, his father was exalted, feeling great and proud, and said that he was feeling the luckiest person to see him successful. By hearing this, tears from Digma`s eyes started rolling incessantly, as no one had ever congratulated him so cordially for his success. Digma was feeling the poorest person in this world. He said to his father, “I am here to beg something from you”.  His father thought what I can give him! He said, “I have nothing more than my time and deep love for you to give you in inheritance”.

He said,” I earned everything, but I could not earn time and love for myself, that only I want, which you have been giving me since my birth, but due to my ignorance I could not value it ”. In the company of his father, he was feeling uplifted, happy and great.

What matters more is situation dependent. But, love, care and suggestion of dear one matter more for ever and in any situation. This cannot be ignored, no matter what.

Just by tuning your brain, you get an awesome result.

Image result for comparison

Your mind is the best of the friends, if it is under control, else worst of the enemies. At every possible occasion, your mind rambles. The mind is prone to negativity. It tries you to put into trouble. It starts comparing your status, your position, your post, your income etc. with others who have more than you. The more you compare, the more you feel low, you feel downtrodden. In the blindness of comparing with others, you forget that, you have all those necessary things which are enough to live your life happily, but due to this ignorant, you push your life in the ditch of sorrow and miseries and sufferings. The worst part is that you do not compare with their effort, diligence, hard work etc.
There is no person in this world who is devoid of problems. Everyone has some certain kind of problem, and every problem has its own dimension and criticality.

When any problem occurs in your life, your uncontrolled and ignorant mind start comparing with those who have fewer problems. In these comparisons, your problem look bigger, and hence your mind convinces you that your problem is the biggest problem in this world, and over again, you throw yourselves in the mire of frustration. What kind of life it is!

The comparison is not evil if you reverse it…..

When you have something, then compare with those who are less fortunate than you and try to help them at your level. You will feel great and uplifted.

When you face some problem in your life, compare with those who have more and critical problems than you. And try to help them, physically, mentally, emotionally or financially. Your problem will appear very small and will feel great, happy and uplifted.

Stop comparison is the advance practice. The moment you stop comparing, you start creating something new and fresh.

Just  by tuning your brain,  you get an awesome result.

Claim Your Treasure : Book Review and Response

Oscar Wilde once mused, “Success is a science, if you have the conditions, you get the result.” We have all at some time pondered if there was in fact, a secret to success. But the meaning of success varies as much as each individual who pursues it, yet the basic questions are similar. How do I reach my full potential? How do I successfully set goals and gain a sense of direction? What path will lead me farthest down the road towards my vision of success? Manoj Kumar Baitha provides the blueprint in this new work, with an outline designed to foster success that is potentially within everyone’s reach. No matter your definition of success, this book will provide the steps (or what Wilde called the conditions) towards achieving your dreams, and attaining the treasure locked inside of us all. Baitha proves Oscar Wilde right, that success is a science, and we all hold the key to unlock its secrets.

A Congregation of Religions is Humanity

India provides a complete freedom of practicing, preaching and propagating of all kinds of religions. This is not an oral commitment rather according to the constitution on India articles 15 and 25-30 of the fundamental rights and sections 295-298 of IPC 1860. It provides support and protection to maintain the sanctity of all the religions. Starting from the old religion, Hinduism to the new religion Sikhism, all are practiced here.

In Hinduism, there are 33 crore (330 million) gods and goddesses. I wonder why all these 33 crore gods and goddesses took birth in India, not in the rest of the world. The population of gods and goddesses is mentioned in Purana, those were written around three-five thousand years ago. Again, I wonder, in these three-five thousand years, there is no increment or decrement in the population of gods and goddesses. Most of the gods and goddesses are married and many gods have more than one wife. Still, their population is still. Despite having 33 crore gods and goddesses to guide us, we did not learn anything from them and our population has reached 128 (year 2015) crore.

Hinduism is not the name of any religion, it is a misnomer. When Persian came to India, they observed a group of people beyond the Sindhu river, and they addressed them as Hindu. Sindhu, became Hindu,  “s” became “h”, like “Saptah” became “Haptah”. The place where Hindus reside is known as Hindustan. No matter, what religion, we follow in this land, by this geographical definition, we all are Hindus. The original name of this religion is not Hindu, it is “Sanatan Dharma”, the eternal religion.

In Jainism, there are 24 Thirnthkaras, starting from Rishab dev to Lord Mahavira. These Thirnthkaras are called Jinas. Why Jinas…? The person who conquers his desires, senses and mind is called Jina. And the followers of Jinas are called Jains. If you have conquered your desires, senses and mind, by this definition, you are a Jain, no matter, in which family, you have taken birth. The same message has been given in the Bhagavat Gita ( 6: 5-6)
Buddhism advocates to know yourself, identify your true self, know your purpose on the earth. If you have known yourself, you are the Buddha, the enlightened one, if you have not known yourself, you are a Buddhu , the foolish one. By this definition, if you have known yourself, you are Buddhist. The same message has been given in Svetasvatara Upanishad (Ch.1-12), “If you have known yourself, there is nothing in this world to be known”.
Christianity, came after Jesus Christ. Christ means to anoint, to provide treatment. If you help someone to get rid of their grieve, difficulties, troubles, miseries and problems, by this definition, you are a Christian. The same message has been given in the Bhagavat Gita(Ch.3-11)—“help each-other and prosper together”.
Muslim came from the Arabic root word “Musla”. Musla means “to submit will”. Muslim means “submitting the will to almighty God”. If you have submitted your will to almighty God, by this Arabic definition, you are Muslim. The same message has been given in the Bhagavat Gita (Ch.18-66)—
sarva-dharmān parityajya
mām ekaḿ śaraṇaḿ vraja
ahaḿ tvāḿ sarva-pāpebhyo
mokṣayiṣyāmi mā śucaḥ

Means- Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear.

Sikh came from the Sanskrit word “Shishya” means disciple. To learn something, to become Sikh, you have to listen and, to listen something you have to silent yourself, there should not be any noise, any violence inside you. Please observe SILENT and LISTEN are two different words having same alphabets. The founder and first Guru of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Dev says,” no matter what religion you follow, listen to the authentic scripture of your religion”. If you are listening and reading to your scripture and then following your religion, by this definition, you are a Sikh.

We know that no religion is a complete religion, no religion contradicts other religions, rather they are complementary to one-another.

All these religions are made by people according to their understanding and convenience, so that, through this path, the spirituality can be attained. Religion is not the destination; it is a path to reach the spirituality.

Only one religion, that is sanctioned, sanctified and approved by the almighty God, which is the religion of humanity.  We have taken birth on the earth as a human, “Purusha”. Below us there is Pashu, the animals, above us, there is Prabhu, the gods. By upgrading ourselves, we can become Prabhu, by degrading ourselves, fighting over territory, religion, region and language, we become Pashu.

This motherland has provided an equal opportunity to everyone without any distinction to upgrade ourselves. It is merely up to you whether you want to be Pashu or Prabhu.
