Nature, The Living Entity

The earth contains 29% land and 71% water, out of that, only 3% is potable. All the rivers and rivulets carry the water from the afield and put into the ocean. The test of the sea/ocean water is salty. The mountain provides the stability of the earth and prevent from the earthquake. As babies we are approximately 75 to 80% water and as we grow older this percentage decreases until the percentage is reduced to approximately 60 to 65% for men and 50 to 60% for women. The human brain is about 85% water and our bones are between 10 to 15% water. The human body also contains almost the similar percentage of water in our body. All the veins simulate the river and rivulets. Our piddle is also salty. The most of the mountains, whence the rivers originates clad with white snow. The color of our brain is also white, whence all the thought generates. The bone helps us to strengthen our body like the mountain does for the earth.

   According to the Aitareya Upanishad,
The Spirit thought, "Lo, these are the worlds. Let me now create the guardians of the worlds. From the waters themselves, he drew forth the person and gave him a shape.
Yea, the Spirit brooded over Him and of Him thus brooded over the mouth broke forth, as when an egg is hatched and breaketh; from the mouth speech, from speech fire. The nostrils were separated out; from the nostrils breath, from breath air. The eyes were separated out; from the eyes sight, from the sight the sun. The ears were separated out; from the ear hearing and from hearing the quarters of space. The skin was separated out; from the skin the hairs, from the hairs plants and trees. The heart was separated out; from the heart the mind and from the mind, the moon. The naval was separated out; from the naval, the outbreath, from the outbreath death. The generative organ was separated out; from it semen, from semen water.
Fire became Speech and entered into the mouth; Air became Breath and entered into the nostrils; the Sun became Sight and entered into the eyes; the Quarters became Hearing and entered into the ears; Herbs of healing and the plants and trees became Hairs and entered into the skin; the Moon became Mind and entered into the heart; Death became the outbreath, entered the naval; water became semen entered the generative organ.
Now let us understand its analogy with our body and its constructions.  “God created the life out of water and gave him shape”; Science also agreed that life emerged from the water as a form of Amoeba. “Fire became Speech and entered into the mouth”; if the fire is used with care, it provides us delicious food else convert everything into ashes. Similarly, if the speeches are used in control, then it would make foe to friend; else it put everyone into the fire of hostility. It is truly said “The spoken word rules the world”. Word wars, religious wars are the vivid examples of the unbridled speeches. Even, the division of Indo-Pak was also the result of the fire of speech.
“Air became Breath and entered into the nostrils”. Air is our Pran, the life. We cannot see air, but we cannot ignore the presence of the air. Pran is not visible, but it is there. We cannot see God and Soul with physical eyes, but the presence cannot be ignored.  “The Sun became Sight and entered into the eyes”, the sun provides the light for the universe and the eyes give the physical light for our life. Scientifically, offering water to the sun in the morning, help to increase the eye sight. The centralized ray pass through a glass and falls on the paper, the paper burns out. Also, the continuous starting at a point on the paper through our eyes, the paper starts burning. We cannot see in the night , it means , our eyes requires sunlight to make the things visible or similar kind of artificial light which has the same characteristics , the light and heat. The sun follows the particular direction, so, in order to see something we need put our eyes in the direction of the object.
“The Quarters became Hearing and entered into the ears”, we can hear from any direction without following the direction. “Herbs of healing and the plants and trees became Hairs and entered into the skin”, the similarities between hairs and plants are so obvious. The plants keep growing, even though we prune the plants. Hair also grows even on shaving and cuttings. The pruned braches of the tree can be implanted. Now, the hair implant is becoming famous as well. “The Moon became Mind and entered into the heart”; the moon is considered a fickle planet, and the mind also do not remain the same all the time. The mind is so related to moon that the lunatic which is the mental condition, originated from the word lunar. The gravitational pull of moon cause the ripple and tide in the sea/ocean. The forces of mind also make a prodigious effect on our life. The gravitational pull of the moon on our mind makes us fickle. As we know that the human brain is about 85% water. And the gravitational pull of moon is more puissant on water. By meditation, the mind can be stabilized, like Lord Shiva made the moon stable on His head. The stable moon on the head of Lord Shiva is the symbolism of the stability of the mind of the yogis. Scientifically, there is positive effect on our mind on full moon, and, on new moon the demon power gets activated, and we are aware that our physical mind is prone to negativity.
“Death became the outbreath, entered the naval”; the fetus is connected with the naval of the mother in the womb. The naval has become the life sustainer since the inception of life. If the air go out and do not come back to naval, means, we got disconnected with the life sustainer, the naval, hence demise. In Ramayana, Rama was immolating the heads and limbs of Ravana, but of no use. His heads and limbs were getting connected automatically. At last, on the suggestion of Bibhisan, the youngest brother of Ravana, Rama arrowed at the naval of Ravana, hence Ravana died. This is the symbolism of aforesaid truth from Upanishad.
“Water became semen entered the generative organ”; the first life got created from water, and the semen is a form of water, contains the potential to create new life. It means, man carries the original seed, not woman. The responsibility of giving the birth of male/female is of man, not of woman. The medical science has proved it 3 decades ago. But, the Rishis of yore had this knowledge since the time immemorial. If we keep some water in a bottle for few days, germs can be seen in the water. It indicates that the origin of life is water.
In our body, there are good bacteria and bad bacteria. Good bacteria are needed for the body to keep it healthy, happy and harmonious. On the contrary, the bad bacteria deteriorate our health. To regain a good health, we need to kill the bad bacteria by giving some treatment. Similarly, the nature would certainly take her step to kill bad bacteria in the form of selfish people, who do not care about the nature. History has shown an inordinate evidence of the natural calamities, are the reciprocals of the behavior shown by the human being towards the nature.  The nature wants to foster the good bacteria, the good people, who really care for the nature, as they care for their own body. But, it should not be of any surprise that some good bacteria have to lose their lives in the process of the treatment.
The God has created the nature and the creature to help each-other to thrive and prosper together.  It manifest that the nature is a living entity. A Biologist, E.L. Wilson, worked on all the known creatures to find their utility to ecology.  Smaller or bigger, all the creatures, directly or indirectly, helping in maintaining the ecology, except one creature. That creature is no one but human being. And, God do not create the rubbish. It suggests that the purpose of human being is different. The human being`s purpose is to take care of the nature and advance themselves towards the spirituality, the knowledge of the spirit.
We have observed an inordinate resemblance between human body and the nature. We are inextricably bound to each-other. Making any damage to the nature, directly or indirectly, we are making destruction to our self.
