Recognize your value- you are here not to suffer

Image
A person named Raghu is a talented person. He is so sharp that he learns anything very easily. It is good for any employer to have an employee like him, sharp, skilled, obedient, sincere, honest and multi-talented. One day Raghu observed that the people with less knowledge, talent and skill are supervising him and holding higher position and earning more than him. Many times he tried to find the answer of it, but he could not. His fear of losing his job could not allow him to think anything more than his job and survival. The people with intense fear cannot understand their own value. If you do not understand your value, you will always sell yourself low. You would have low self-esteem, position and income. And with good talent and skill and low self-esteem can make you a good servant not an owner. Your talent, skill and hard work are used for profit of others. You create fortune for others and sheer survival for you. Raghu becomes inquisitive to understand the reason of no...

Why an Elephant head to lord Ganesha, Why not of other animals?

Image
In Hinduism, Lord Ganesha has elephant head, he is the deity, who is worshiped first before any ceremony and any other gods and goddesses. We know the story why and how the head of Ganesha was chopped and replaced with an elephant head by his father, Lord Shiva. Why lord Shiva replaced the head of impertinent Ganesha with the head of an elephant, why not of other animals or head of any other human? No mythological story exist without any logic. What is the logic behind this head replacement? The chopping of the head and replacing with the elephant head is the significance of the replacing your thought with the bigger one. Lord Ganesha could not recognize his father and fought with his father. It is the indication of ignoring the divinity. In order to make lord Ganesha a divine one, he replaced his head with bigger and intelligent one. Again, why elephant head? For that, let us understand the brain of an elephant.  The brain of the elephant is the biggest brain among all livin...

Why was no one happy in Ramayana…?

Image
Rama broke the Shiva`s bow to win the hand of Sita in the competition was organized by King Janak for the marriage of his daughter Sita. The competition was only to string the bow not to break. When the bow was broken, Parashuram walked in and asked for the reason of breaking the bow. Parashuram was not happy on breaking the bow. Hence, an argument took place at the time of the marriage of Sita. Due to this argument, king Janak became unhappy. After marriage, Sita and Ram reached Ayodhya. On reaching Ayodhya, reluctantly, king Darshath asked Rama for 14 years forest exile to keep the words of his second wife Kaikeyi. King Darshath was not happy with this decision, and due to this distress and culpability, he died. Mistakenly, king Darshath had killed the parent devotee Sarvan Kumar. Hence, parents of Sarvan Kumar were not happy. Son of Kaikeyi, Bharat, refused to be a king of Ayodhya, for what she had asked Rama`s forest exile. Hence Kaikeyi was not happy. Bharat was not happy with...

Suicides in The Ramayana and The Mahabharta

Image
“It is better to die than dishonor” – Bhagwat Geeta (2:34) Suicide is considered a sin. In Christianity, a different graveyard is allotted for those who die by suicide. No funeral rites are performed for them. According to Sec. 309 of IPC 1860, committing suicide is a criminal offense. When a person is caught in an attempt of committing suicide, instead of showing sympathy, that person may be sent to the imprisonment for one year. Why it is so ..? The most of the IPCs (Indian Penal Code) of our constitution were made in England in 1860 when India was under British rule. The British follows Christianity and the Christianity is the religion of commandments. In this way, in this religion, suicide became a sin, and in law, a crime. But in the Hindu tradition – voluntarily, giving up mortal body is seen differently. In the Mahabharata, old parents of the Kaurava and old mother of Pandava went to the forest.  They engulfed by a forest fire. They did not ...

What is Your Identity ?

Image
Mangesh woke-up in the morning and got ready for the office, before leaving for the office, he stood before a mirror and gave a pep-up talk…”I am a diamond…” and happily reached to the office. One of his sub-ordinates met him and said.. “Sir, you are a platinum…”. He mumbled,” I was just thinking of myself a diamond… I am more precious than that … I am a platinum…”. With this attitude he started his work. After some time, his boss called him, and said, “ you know, … you are a copper…”. He got confused whether he was a diamond, a platinum or a copper. With this confusion, he reached his home. His wife understood that something has happened with him. In front of your wife, neither you can express your happiness nor sadness. In both the cases, you have to give the explanation which is more perilous than expressing your emotions. His wife asked the reason for his upset. He explained what had happened.  She shown the sympathy and said, “ how can your boss call you a copper, this is ...

Be Intellectual like Swan

Image
Many things and many thoughts we carry in our life, which has no meaning at all.  The happiness and joy comes in our life by knowing the meaning, purpose of everything what we carry in our life. We carry extra weight on our body, no meaning, this extra burden gives the suffering to our body. We carry extra and unnecessary thoughts, these  unnecessary thoughts are a burden on our mind and the burden on our mind make us mentally weak, the way extra burden on our body makes us weak and unproductive. Whatever extra and useless things we carry whether physically, mentally or materially causes us suffering. We need to learn how to ignore the things. Assume, today someone commented on you which you did not like, what will do ? … fight …? Not a wise decision… ! …you may want to reply back .. but considering your status and reputation, physically, you choose not to do it , but what about those thoughts which stuck in your mind and your mind started thinking about it. This is ab...

Life is not for Competition, it is for Creation

Image
There were five fishermen in a village, and there was a single pond in their village where they used to go for fishing. After few years of fishing, fishes started reducing, demand started increasing. When the resources are less and demands are more, the competition takes place. People start competing with one-another. The same thing happened to them. They started competing one-another to catch more and more fishes and get more profits. The hatred, jealousy, despises and comparison took place, the meaning of life was lost. Competition, defeating others, thinking about others had become their life. In competition, people forget themselves, they always things about their opponents, which make the people go away from the self. The fishermen were always busy in making strategy against others. They were wasting their energy and time thinking for other`s defeat. They thought, there is no other way out to survive rather than competing with others. When you entangle in these kind of tho...

Stress is an illusion

Image
There is no reason for anyone to live one`s life with stress, worry, tension and anxiety. All things what has happened in your life, what is happening in your life and what will happen in your life, are driven by Karma. Everyone is responsible for one`s Karma. If something happens to you which you had never expected, you become depressed, and you lose all the interest in your life. You forget that whatever is taking place in your life right now is the only one aspect of your life, it is not your entire life, if you do not understand it, then it will destroy your entire life. Better to ignore this aspect and move on. Stress, tension, worry or any kind of negativity what we can think of are all illusions, are the sign of our ignorance. We do not know the reality why it is happening in our life and what indication, we are getting from the situation. All the situation and circumstances give us some indication to know our life better. And the person who understands it and catch it...

Do not work hard, it will spoil you

Image
When you were a kid, you were told to study hard, life is tough. When you are in a job, you are told to work hard, life is too tough and competitive, you cannot get success, promotion, salary increment etc. without hard work. You were never told to enjoy studying, you are never told to enjoy your work by choosing the profession of your choice. If you are not enjoying the things what you are doing, merely hard work will not carry you anywhere. You will difficult, you will make your life difficult and hard, not only yours, for those who are directly or indirectly associated with you. If something seems hard for you, leave it. Choose those which you can do joyfully. Not by doing hard work, you make your life meaningful, but by doing the right work joyfully, you make your life meaningful and successful. By doing the right thing, in right way, and joyfully, you attain the pinnacle of your success. You feel joy and spread joy. You become the richest person in this world, because, y...

Being in a wrong profession is a suffering

Image
It is very important for you to choose your profession of your interest, of your pulsating desire, where you can dedicate your mind, body and soul wholly. Despite having many challenges and impediments in the work of your choice, you will not complain anything and anybody. Albert Einstein did not get disturbed or diverted even after many criticisms from the people on his theory of relativity. He continued working towards it to prove his theory, it took him 5 years to publish his general theorem of relativity to make people understand it. He could continue his work, because, that was his area of interest, if not, then he would have gone into a deep level of frustration. If you are doing the work which you do not like, even a small problem may harass you, make you fatigue and frustrated. Everyone has at least one constructive work to do that no one can do in this world. Your first work is to recognize the material nature where you can give your 100% without anyone`s validation. ...

Guru dispels your doubts, clears your mind

Image
Guru came from the Sanskrit word Gu and Ru. Gu means darkness or ignorance and Ru means remover. The remover of ignorance is called GURU. All who teach cannot be GURU. The true GURU does not teach what is written in the syllabus, but he teaches how to create your own syllabus of life. The true GURU does not teach you about the story or history, but teaches you how to create your own story and make the history out of it.  He never makes you followers, but pioneer of life. He gives the formula not the solution. He never teaches you how to avoid tough situation, but teaches you how to acquire the strength to face the tough situation. He does not teach you how to travel on the walked path, rather teach you to create your own path that is never walked by anyone before. He does not teach you how to compete someone, rather teaches you how to create.  Life is not for completion, it is for creation. He never compels his ideas, rather he teaches you how to generate your own idea an...

Accept the Change, Enjoy it

Image
Nothing is permanent, but change. This is the reality, this is the truth. And not accepting the truth causes miseries in our life. Change makes the life move. The changes make us think, changes make us react, and changes make us to deal with different kind of situation of life to attain the maturity and wisdom. Every change has its own importance. The way, changes in the weather have its own importance on ecology, whether we like it or not, it takes place. Better to accept it, embrace it and enjoy it. You want pleasure in your life, not pain. You want to make the pleasure permanent. But there is no existence of pleasure without pain. You cannot enjoy pleasure without knowing the pain. You cannot understand and enjoy the taste of success without understanding the taste of failure. You become stagnant without changes. Stagnant means death, no life. You frighten change. You do not want to become old; you do not want to see your wrinkled skin, you want to be ever young, ever a...
