No time for the self

Everything is created with a purpose associated with a definite deadline. The purpose may be vague, but the deadline is explicit, cannot be changed at any case. We all are souls, take human form to offload our Karmas. Our mind, body and senses are mere the instruments have been provided to us for a certain period of time. These are the medias for the soul to accomplish his major purposes on the earth.
Our purposes determine our activities, and our activities determine our Karma. If our purpose and intention are good, we will indulge in good Karma, else vile Karma. Good Karma brings the happiness and bad Karma repellent that. Good Karmas make your soul liberated from the continuous cycle of birth and death. And, bad Karmas make you to fall in continuous cycle of birth and death with degraded level.
Our instruments (mind, body and senses) cause us to suffer or success. Unbridled instruments cause us to suffer and controlled one makes us uplifted. These consciousnesses come to us when we get time for us to contemplate on it.

We are so engrossed in our outer world that we barely get time for us. Not getting time for the self is just wastage of the human life on the earth. We get time for the family, society, job etc., but we forget to give the fraction of the time for us. We talk about everyone, but forget to talk about us. We care about everything, but we forget to care about us until we hospitalized. We never listen to our true self, we never try to travel within and confront the true self.

No matter how knowledgeable you are, how much wealthy you are, how much popular and famous you are, if you could not get time to know your true self, means, you would live in guilty and die in compunction.  If you know yourself, there would nothing in this world to be known. Every time, and in any situation, whether it is success or failure, happiness or distress, you will remain equi-poised.

Stress, worry, tension, frustration, irritation, hatred, disquiet etc. are the result of ignoring the self. Embracing the self removes all impurities from the life and attracts the fortune and ecstasy. Even you cannot help to someone without helping yourself first.

Four Tools of Lord Vishnu, the Insignia of a Leader

Vishnu is one of the trinity in Hindu pantheon. He is revered as a leader, maintainer and preserver of the cosmic order. Vishnu is depicted with four hands. These four hands carries four distinct tools, which beckon the qualities of a good leader should posses.

Predominantly, there are four roles for a leader i.e.
Review ---- Communication ---- Rewards ---- Punishment.

The index finger of Vishnu`s upper right hand carries an inexorably revolving Sudarshan Chakra (wheel). With the help of this Chakra (wheel), he maintains the cosmic order, and whoever tries to disturb the cosmic order, he kills those with the help of this Chakra. It indicates that, a leader should always indulge in continuous review of the process, and whenever, or wherever, any impediments occur; he should remove those to ensure the consistent progress of the set mission.

The lower right hand contains club. Vishnu uses club to punish those, who transgress the moral laws and disturbs the cosmic order. Notably, Sudarshan Chakra and club are in his right hands. Scientifically, the right side of the body is controlled by the left side of the brain and vice-versa. The left brain is very logical and analytical. This left side of the brain is good for judgments. The right brain is emotional. It helps in connecting the people.

The review and punishment should be decided prudently, that is why, these two tools have been exposed in the right hands of him.

The upper left hand of Vishnu carries conch, which is the medium of the communication. The communication is very important for a leader. Spoken words rule the world.  Good communication wins the friends, and bad one loses them. Communication without listening or respecting the emotions of others, is not a communication, it is the insignia of dictatorship, which is invariably abhorred by all. The lower left hand of Vishnu carries lotus, which signifies the result or reward. A true leader appraises and rewards those, who really contribute significantly in accomplishing the mission.

Conch, the communication tool, and the lotus, the result or reward, these both tools have been depicted in the left hands of Vishnu. Our heart also dwells in the left side of the chest. The communication and rewards should be performed cordially. Our hearts never questions, our brain does this.  The communication with pure hearts is never untruth, and hence, creates the trust in the people for the leader. The same thing is true for the rewards.
