Vishnu`s Mount Hawk and Snake
Vishnu has two mounts one is Hawk and second is Snake. Hawk and Snake are natural enemy to each-other. Vishnu in his slumber or respite uses snake as his mount and whenever Vishnu goes for battle, he uses hawk as his mount. The snake is known for his near-sighted, he pays attention for all the things around him only. When Vishnu is at home, he pays attention on the things around him only, no need to think much, and enjoy the things available there. When Vishnu goes for battle, he uses hawk as his mount. The hawk is known for his far-sight and vision. In the battlefield, Vishnu need to be far-sighted, must have the tactics and good vision to win over the battle, hence he prefers hawk as his mount to snake in the battlefield.
