Hiring and Firing in the Organization

Employees of the private sectors are living in constant fear of getting fired from the job.  Employers have also devised different-different parameters and process for the appraisal evaluation for the employees. They keep the target to make the business growth to certain amount for the year. Keeping the competition in the market in mind, the employers always want to keep the best resources to get the maximum return out of them. The employees who are found under-performed according to their evaluation, they fire those employees or cut their salary. Some of the parameters of the appraisals are system dependent, and with those persons who are not directly associated with the individual performances. They set benchmark for the account, in one account many employees and teams are associated, if the account altogether does not perform well, it directly affect the individual performances, even though, the individuals has performed in his assignment exceptionally good. Due to the system evaluation, he/she may get the less rating and can fall in the category of the under-performances. And as per the company policy, they may get impacted. Then, organizations hire resources from the market to fill this position, in hoping to get maximum output out of them, to achieve their set target for the year, to topple their competitors. As per policy and competition, it may be justifiable for the survival of the organization, but, ethically, firing employees without providing more opportunity is not good.

Ravana, the king of Lanka, agitated war with Rama. Bibhishan (Ravana`s brother) was not happy with his brother`s act and requested him to return Sita to Rama. Ethically, Bibhishan was correct, but as per Ravana`s policy, he was not, hence Bibhishan falls under-performance category, and hence, Ravana kicked him and banished from his kingdom, Lanka. Ravana wake his another brother Kumbhkarana from his deep sleep, hoping to get help from him to win the war against Rama. After banished, Bibhishan need to find some refuge, hence he approached Rama, and become the part of his team. Rama`s army was consists of monkeys and beers. Rama was an excellent mentor and leader. He always believed to perform his duty ethically. Despite dearth of resources in the jungle, Rama trained and motivated his army of monkeys and beers up to that extent that Rama and his army defeated Ravana`s army and brought Sita back. Rejected Bibhishan by Ravana, became helpful in telling the secret of Ravana`s death. Rama is incarnation of Vishnu and Sita is incarnation of Laxmi. Despite of providing all the luxuriant to his subject and army, due to the unethical approach to win Sita (Laxmi), Ravana is not worshiped. No one loyal to him, as one can be kicked out any time.

Due to the uncertainty of the market and competition, most of the organization, adopts Ravana approaches to get Sita (Laxmi), they try to abduct Sita by hook or crook. They expect from the employees to help to meet the organization`s expectation. The employees, who fail to keep the expectation of the organization vivid, are sacked out. Employees have lost their trust on organization. The organization, who could find a good leader, who can train and motivate the employees and win the trust of them, the existing employees can do miracle in getting Sita(Laxmi) back, and  in organization thriving.
